About Steven

Maple Ridge has been my home for 24 years. I've raised my family here, worked here, and built my life around serving the people in this community. I am currently retired from Vancouver Fire and Rescue Services, and most of my career has been spent in roles where safety, responsibility, and clear decision-making matter — heavy-duty mechanics, marine engineering, emergency services, and now engineering compliance officer.

I'm a hands-on person. I solve problems by getting involved, understanding the details, and making sure things are done properly. I care about accountability, transparency, and long-term thinking.

I'm not a career politician. I'm a father, husband, former lacrosse coach, a worker, and someone who shows up when something needs to be done. My experience has taught me that strong communities are built through collaboration, fairness, and practical solutions. This is the perspective I will bring to my elected role in Maple Ridge.
